For the closed caption, it's worth mentioning that "die Seepferdchen" would be the correct plural. Also, I'm pretty sure he pronounced the vowel in "See" like English "sea," rather than rhyming with "weigh." It bothered me because I would think the son of a German immigrant would be able to pronounce his father's nickname.

The whole eharmony thing is very sad. I've been on 6 years and 208 days ... I've paid hundreds of dollars and to this point, eharmony hasn't produced a suitable match for me.

Maybe that is why he did not mention that it was Schrödinger's cat and simply said a cat. But yeah he says "Quantum physics says" that was not very smart, thought neither seemed the girl, so I guess that might have been his reason to not mind being not so very accurate.

I just went back to the episode and he does mention Schrödinger's cat at first..

Simon: Are you aware of the Double Slit Experiment? ?
Camille: Well, there was that one time in college...
Simon: What about Schrödinger's cat?
Camille: No, I'm not that kinky.

yeah bad move from the show's writers..
And the common thing between the 2 experiments is the uncertainty principle, so I'm guessing that is what caused the flash-forwards..

I only even addressed the article form because I had closed captioning on and I noticed it conflicted with the spoken dialog, and wanted to see which was correct, which is when I forgot my German grammar from high school.

Thanks for the correction. It's been about 20 years since I took German in high school, and nobody really speaks it on a regular basis in my family anymore. I wonder why the closed captioning used "die".

Actually das Seepferdchen is correct. The 'chen' suffix is always neuter in German (such as das Mädchen, or girl).
